My school has a wireless access point and I want to set one up at home too. To set it up at home and make the connection seamless, do I just make the SSID and channel the same as school at home. Also the school doesn't use WEP, so I wouldn't use it on both. To keep the leachers out who would know the school SSID and channel, I would use the Restrict Access by MAC address, a feature found in Netgear wireless routers. Does what I would do sound correct.
