Help Configuring Spare Hdd.

Hi,

I'm wanting to use a Dell OEM Maxtor hdd as a backup hdd. The only catch is that I want to use it for storage, but keep the OS system on it in case I want to sell this computer with the hdd and OS. The system originally came set up as cable select, but I'm wondering if I set it up as Master/Slave, it will read my hdd because it's not reading the hdd set up with the OS on it.

Do you think there is a conflict on which OS to start up, so it doesn't recognize the second hdd at all?

Hmm.. No replies. I guess I should've asked if you think AMD sucks or something.. 😉

Anyway.. NM. I found the solution. I did have to wipe the hdd clean for it to register as a second hdd.
