Help!! Computer won't turn boot from windows screen!

When I turn my computer on, it freezes during the windows screen. I am not overclocking or anything. I can boot into safe mode but have no clue what to do from there to solve my problem. I have tried disabling all the startup programs but the problem seems to exist before that even takes place. Please help me if you can. Here is my set up

Duron 600
128 mb pc100
geforce 2mx 32
asus a7v133

 
What did you change? Did you start to install something then end it before it completed? Do you get any error messages? A format and re-install will fix it but do you have all the software you need to do that and have you backed up?
 
It definitely sounds like a software problem. But if it is hardware:

1) Check the memory
2) Try UNDERclocking it and/or increasing the voltage.
