HELP! Computer won't boot to Win XP

During setup of disk 2 the system stopped responding. I did a hard reset and now I'm getting the blue screen process1_initialization_failed when I try to boot to Win XP. I get the same message if I try to boot in safe mode or with the last good known configuration. What can I do?
