I have a super 7 system that I have been using for awile... I sold it off to a friend. Well.. I went over there to set it up, and the computer powers up, goes thru the videocard bios, checks the memory, displays the bios version (Award bios.... ect ect) then restarts and goes thru that loop all over again. I took out everything except the video card, and then reseated the memory and the proc. itself, but it keeps doing that over and over... what could be the problem??

Thanx

It's possible you're lossing the regulation on the power supply voltage and it's getting noisey. If you have a spare supply, try it. You can also try resetting the bios to defaults, disconnecting the drives (first one then the other then both floppy and hard drive) and try different keyboards and mice.
I just went through this last night with a P3B-F board, it's not a quick process.

Just to repeat, NOTHING is hooked up, no mouse, no keyboard, no hard-drives, no floppy, no cd-drives, no sound-card, nothing except the above...

Have you tried setting the bios to defaults? A different stick of memory, a different video card? Have you tried following the bios through it's start-up, it does check things in a certain order. Try Awards website for a description of a standard boot sequence. I've tried explaing that one to a regular electronics tech and they had problems with it, so I'm not gonna try and explain. Other than that, I'd have to go with ledzepp98 and say try the power supply.
