alright, in the for sale forum the 8k7a is being offered for 60 bucks, i can get the 8k5a new about 80 shipped (was going to get the latter to oc)

would i be just as well off saving the 20 and getting the 8k7a? is it just a new revision or what? dont care about the raid part, and im sure theyre both plenty stable...

Appreciate any advice

thanks, Sauron

The 8K7A is a much older DDR board based on the AMD761 chipset. The 8K5A is a much faster and newer board offering more features and o/c ability. :)
