Stop downloading stuff like they asked. I'm sure they asked you to reply and confirm that you deleted the files (don't do that, btw).

Can you not read? They told you what to do in the letter and in the posts above.

Dear Comcast High-Speed Internet Subscriber:

Comcast has received a notification by a copyright owner, or its authorized
agent, reporting an alleged infringement of one or more copyrighted works made
on or over Comcast's High-Speed Internet service (the 'Service'). The copyright
owner has identified the Internet Protocol ('IP') address associated with your
Service account at the time as the source of the infringing works. The works
identified by the copyright owner in its notification are listed below. Comcast
reminds you that use of the Service (or any part of the Service) in any manner
that constitutes an infringement of any copyrighted work is a violation of
Comcast's Acceptable Use Policy and may result in the suspension or termination
of your Service account.

If you have any questions regarding this notice, you may direct them to Comcast in
writing by sending a letter or e-mail to:

I got a couple for entourage. I just deleted it and kept downloading.

I have HBO, on demand and a DVR from them. I just don't like walking into my living room and wanted to watch some stuff on my laptop.

ignor it...i used to get them from comcast and charter all the time...you can do a couple things
1) switch torrent trackers
2) stop downloading crap
3) use a better medium of file transport...you know what i speak of...or ..dont speak of >.>

anyways...you can disregard the email..seriously, i used to get a lot of them...nothing ever happened.

I got one of those years ago. Comcast was not monitoring you. They just got notification from someone who was seeding your torrent and logged your IP and sent you a standard letter. For the most part, Comcast doesn't care unless they are faced with legal troubles. In fact, it wouldn't shock me if they wanted you to download this stuff because it increases the demand for purchasing their high speed packages. However, they will probably cancel your service if you get too many violations over a certain period of time in order to protect themselves legally.

Your safest solution is to stop downloading, but if you are not going to do that then stay away from the popular torrent trackers.

"I don't know what you're talking about. My buddy did give me this wireless contraption though. Is it possible that a neighbor could use my wireless?"

NO That is an admission that actually did do it. NEVER give some one ammo against you.
