Help choosing speakers

I am currently using CSW FPS2000's with a SB AUdigy. I would love to get something with much more powerfull+clear base. My budget is under 400.

Suggestions?
Also, is there any way to add subwoofers onto a current setup?

For $400 you could get just about any system out there that currently sells for computer setups 🙂 The Logitech z560 (or even the 650 I think which is the 5.1 system), the Klipsch 4.1 or the 5.1 system. The Klipsch has harder hitting bass and a tad harsher highs...but its also quite a bit more expensive 🙂

yeah you have a rather large budget, with that money i'd go with either klispch 5.1's or logitech z680s both of which have powerfull bass... the logitech is newer and supposedly better because it has digital inputs and hardware decoder... but the klipsch still has better highs and mids... or so i've heard through many mixed reviews. best advice, go to local bestbuy or compusa and listen to them... see which you like better and play with the control pods; i'm sure you won't be disappointed with either system

I disagree. The Logitechs have better mid-range than the Klipsch 5.1s, but the Klipsch's horn tweeters provide the "highest of the highs." My personal tastes agree more with the solid mid-range of the Logitechs than the often-too-bright Klipsch horns. The Boston BA7800s are in the middle of the two, providing both excellent mid-range and high-range; a very well-balanced system.
