Why don't you ask this question after the parts are released? You're really speculating right now and wanting us to take a complete stab at the dark.

Well we can pretty much be 100% sure that the GTX 280 won't use more power than the 9800GX2. What do you want to spend, do you want modular? Obviously you are not that interested in bang for your buck, so there are a ton of options. Corsair HX520 or VX550 wouold be plenty, but with your budget, maybe go for the HX620, TX650 or TX750. Or look at some Silverstones

Yea i was wondering if the TX750 would be a good choice, do you think it will be able to handle GTX 280 SLI if i get another mobo in the future?

from the early power consumption figures, I wouldn't try it. It could handle it I am sure, but it would be pushing it. I would go 800-850Watt for that. Something like the BFG ES-800, OCZ EliteXstream 800 Watt or Coolermaster Real Power Pro 850Watt. Obviously there are more out there than those, but those would be on my short list.

It's GTX 280. Not 280 GTX.

Your comment didn't add anything usefull to this thread, a moderator spamming?

How so? I'm helping you by correcting how you state the name of the graphics card. I'm not spamming or trolling. Simply correcting you to avoid future confusion.

GTX was at the end of the old graphics cards names, like 8800 GTX, 9800 GTX....

When Nvidia ran out of "four digit model numbers" it could use to designate graphics cards, they moved the "GTX" designation to the beginning of the model name as opposed to the end.

They did this to "avoid confusion", and I can understand why they wouldn't want to go with a five digit model number, but IMHO using "GTX" at all anymore is going to cause confusion. They should have come up with something completley new.
