Help choosing notebook

Hey guys, I will be travelling to US (Burlington, VT to be exact) and I m considering a laptop for my wife... she is currently using her Acer Aspire One in her room while accompanying our baby... and she finds that it's too slow for her (youtubing, email, webcams, facebooking at the same time)...

So i've decided to get her a new laptop.. she wants the screen size to be 14" and under i guess...

I looked at the Alienware M11x, pretty good specs for 11" but i dont need that i7 1.6ghz.. i rather get that i5 540M or something... the i5 is rated at higher speed than the i7 right? the i7 only wins in the extra 1MB cache?

Oh, I would prefer a dedicated graphics... although i m not sure if she needs one (she doesnt game)

I dont mind about the hdd as i will replace it with ssd and external usb for storage.

LED screen is a must i guess and integrated webcams as well..

any opinions??

Oooh and last question, where can i buy/take a look at laptops in Burlington, VT? is there any other computer stores (frys, microcenter, etc) other than the big box stores?

Thanks!
