I'm having trouble picking from the following:

ASUS VW224U
Acer X223Wbd
SAMSUNG 2243BWX

Intend to use it for gaming ( no fps) + watching movies. I'm thinking about going with Samsung, since I heard its generally better quality.

Thanks.

Smoideen, if the coupon still works, I strongly recommend the Dell 2209WA; this week's deal takes the price down to about $206 with the coupon. It's easily worth $300 or more, given that it's probably the only IPS panel you can buy for under $600 these days. Read the stickied LCD thread authored by XTKnight for more information, or search '2209WA'. There is also a 40+ page discussion on the Hard|Forum. And finally I agonised over spending considerably more money than $200 but settled on the 2209WA.

None of the monitors you're considering are in the same league. Frankly, it's incredible that they were even offering a 22-inch IPS panel for $300 (original retail price), let alone $200ish.

Thanks JaYp146 & Winterpool. I came across that monitor when I searched through the forums, but I was hesitant due to bad experiences with several dell laptops. Must be worth since so many are recommending it. Thanks all.

Good decision, I thought of the Dell right away. Other thoughts were $200 23"/24" 1080p/1920x1200 monitors considering the ones you were looking at were tn panels as well. But the Dell S-IPS panel is way better.
