Help choosing ddr2/ddr3 motherboard and ram

Hello,
I'm new here at the forum
I'm going to buy a new computer mostly for graphic uses (Solidworks, maxwell etc).
I'm taking the "Phenom II X4 955BE" with "Scythe MUGEN 2" cooler and I'm planning to overclock and looking for maximum performance- off course.

I'm not sure about the RAM and the mobo.
I could take either:

Gigabyte GA-MA770T-UD3P DDR3 AM3 (770 chipset with SB710, DDR3)
8GB of DDR3 1600Mhz CL9

or

Gigabyte GA-MA790X-UD4P AM2+/AM3 AMD CPU (790 chipset with SB750, DDR2)
8GB Of DDR2 1066Mhz CL5

I can get both combination at the same price so money is not an issue here.
Which one do you recommend me to take?
