I'm looking for a new sound card which will be used 95% for music on a 2.1 only system.
My computer is too slow for games so i'm only interested in music fidelity.
Currently have a 1998 creative Live value card. I hear some of the better audiofile cards like emu 0404, m-audio or external usb cars have better capacitors and DAC's than the mainstream cards like Creative X-FI.
so for reasonably money (definately no more than $100), what card will be best for audio on a Klipsch PM 2.1 system?
