I installed the East Asian languages, but still can't get the Chinese characters to show up in the email list in Outlook Express. Only weird characters. But when I open the email, Chinese characters show up fine in there. Am I missing something? Any help would be appreciated.

Before anything... are you using plain text or html? You should be using plain text, give that a try.
