Help, changed mobo, now have random lockups

Hi Y'all,

I changed the mobo on an old 233 from an ALI TXPro to an Intel based mobo and now I have random freezing. One symptom is that the mouse randomly "freezes" for a while and then will come back to life. Or, I have to hit the windows key and then escape to get it back. What can I do to update the drivers or the registry to try and remove ALI drivers that may be causing problems. Or, is there anything someone knows about this that might help. Thanks in advance.

I've found that when changing out a mobo it's best to do a reformat and start from scratch.

You might have to edit your signature now. 😉

Yeah. It's best to format the hard thingy, and reinstall that windows thingy.

Dude Its a good idea to format after a new mobo Dang I format even if i just look at a new mobo
