Help! Chaintech VNF 4 Ult, not booting

We have all the components in, but there is no beep when it turns on. Therefore it does not boot up at all? We've checked everything we THINK. But still not booting. Any ideas?

Start with just the basics.

First try clearing CMOS.

If still no luck, only have the components necessary for a bootup connected
motherboard
powersupply
ram (use 1 stick if you have 2, try the other one then by itself if still no luck)
cpu
heatsink/fan
vid card

Is this your first time building a computer? If so, then I'd probably suggest the basics. Did you use stand-offs when placing the motherboard in the case(you don't want to screw them in so tight, that may ground the motherboard)? Did you connect the power supply to all the slots on the motherboard (a 20-pin main ATX connector and a 4-pin ATX connector)?
