Urbantechie, I tried gently pushing it in gently, and then forcing it a bit, but even that didn't work. It's not crooked, it's straight out. I think the interal side of the tray is out of position or something, that's why wouldn't it wouldn't go back in.
If I open the drive, I would void the warranty and still not fixed it, not to mention that I might further damange it, so I don't think I want to do that. I'm planning to call Plextor on Monday. Do you they would be willing to replace my drive?
