HELP! CD-R's don't recognize after upgraded to XP

HELLO!

After I upgraded from winME to winXP, my CD-R's that contains pictures and videos don't recognize in CD-R Drive or in DVD ROM Drive.

When I go to inside "My Computer window" it shows there is CD-R media inside the drive. and

Free Space: 0 bytes

Total Space: 0 bytes

How can I fix this???

Anything went wrong after I upgraded my OS to XP???

Pls.! any suggestion?

grab updates for the OS .. that might be it. There were some earlier incompatibilites with CDRs in XP.

yea this is not a problem
all you have to do is uncheck a lil box and you can read them all.

go into your cdr drive properties and uncheck enable digital audio for the cd-rom device

(at least i think this is the right option to uncheck - I had the same problem way back when and unchecking a box did it =P )
