None of my CD-ROMS can read any CDs. Whenever I insert a CD, nothing shows up and when I try to access it it says it's inaccessible. What is weird is that if I leave the CD in the drive and then reboot, I can read the CD after I get back into Windows. This is really weird and annoying.

The only thing I messed around with is I turned autoplay off.

Please help!

It is because autoplay has been disabled. If possible you should re-enable autoplay, if you decide to leave autoplay disabled, just press F5 to refresh and WinXP will see the CD.
