Hi

guys got a couple questions
my mbm5 shows a case temp of 35 which sound good to me, however the sensor in my v-card shows a 40deg ambient temp, now is that because the v-card sensor is on the v-card or could my mobo be lieing ? (asus p4c800-e)

also I keep hearing about a pwm temp, what is that ?

another question (sorry :) ) how do I get the NB temp ?

please let me know

Thank you
Dan

just a thought, and I'm probably wrong like I usually am. But where does your MB measure the temp at? Your video card might be higher up and hot air rises, that could be leading to a different reading? I don't really trust what my MB reads the temps at. I put a Cooler Master Areogate II in my case Friday, and put thermal sensors around my case. I've noticed the reading is different from what my bios tells me, it's not much.

35 is pretty good, that's what my cpu is running at right now. my case is @ 23 according to my thermal sensor. But I have no idea how accurate either really is :)
