Help. Can't use Adaptec Easy CD Creator on Plextor8432T

Last week I got my PX-W8432T from buy.com and installed Adaptec Easy CD Creator V4.02c S10. But I can't burn data CD. Every time, no matter the size of files(20M-630M) or no matter the write speed(2X, 4X or 8X), there is a error message when 99% finished. The error information is:

There is no CD in the CD-Recorder. Easy CD Creator will now attempt to write the table of contents. Please insert the destination CD into the CD-Recorder.

I sure my CDR(they are 12X) and the connection of CDRW are OK. I can burn CD by using CloneCD.
Does anyone know what's wrong with my burner?

I have a Plextor 8/20 on one machine and an old Ricoh 6100S on this machine, I have never been able to get Adaptec Easy Cd Creator to run properly on either machine. Get Nero 5.0, much better program IMHO.

I had exactly the same problem so I switched to Nero. Adaptec EZCD Creator is no good.

I have to agree I was having the same problem with Adaptec Switched to Nero and have not made a new coaster since!!!

I don`t either, but I sure had problems. Lockups all the time. Switched to Nero and the problems went away.😀

Update your EZCD. Current patches go up to 4.02e. I had to go to at least 'd' to get my Plextor 121032A to work, but once I upgraded I had no problems.
