Help, cant save .gif files!

I'm running Windows XP Home, Service Pack 2. My computer randomly decides that every time I try to right click/save a .gif image, it recognizes it as a bitmap instead. Does anyone know how to fix my problem?
 
Nevermind, mods please delete this thread. Note to self, use Google before registering to forums to ask for help. All I needed to do was clear out my temporary internet files.
