HELP!!! Can't Repair Windows XP

A bunch of my XP's registry were corrupted, and the technician said the only way was to repair reinstall. He said that I would not lose my files during reinstallation. My question is that on the installation screen, I can't find where it says Repair this Windows Xp Installation. All it shows is Partition One "NTSF" 56800MB and Partition Two. It doesn't show Windows Xp Professional. When I entered to install Xp or Partition ONe, it said that it will delete all files and not recommened to install OS over OS. What is wrong here?
 
I think you passed it up already. If I remember correctly there is a screen before this a bit that you choose repair and then you choose either the recovery console (not what you want) or a manual repair.
