HELP Can't POST past 140mhz FSB on P3V4X

The FSB looks pretty low for a 133 MHz P3...What's your memory set at? You're not using the +33 option, right? CAS2, or CAS3? You might try using the -33 option for the memory, to run it slower than your FSB. If you can post at that, you know your memory is holding you back...

I've heard that it helps to put a different heatsink on the P3V4X's clock generator chip. It's the chip up between the DIMM's and Slot1. Something on the order of a video card heatsink with thermal paste in the center and a dot of superglue on each corner should help.

Try post at 146mhz it worked for me but not 140.

To Generalen: I have tried to POST at 142mhz but it won't work, but I will try, do you have any info on how my RAM settings should be set?

To Generalen: Thanks, I got it to post at 146mhz. How many times should I run 3DMark2000 before I can considder it stable?
