I can't run Return to Castle Wolfenstein on my PC. Trying to run on following system

Windows XP Pro
256Mb RAM
GeForce 2 MX-200 64mb

I get the following error when I run the game...

Initializing OpenGL driver
...getting DC: succeeded
...GLW_ChoosePFD( 16, 16, 0 )
...35 PFDs found
...GLW_ChoosePFD failed
...GLW_ChoosePFD( 16, 16, 0 )
...35 PFDs found
...GLW_ChoosePFD failed
...failed to find an appropriate PIXELFORMAT
...restoring display settings
...WARNING: could not set the given mode (3)
...shutting down QGL
...unloading OpenGL DLL
...assuming '3dfxvgl' is a standalone driver
...initializing QGL
...WARNING: missing Glide installation, assuming no 3Dfx available
...shutting down QGL
----- CL_Shutdown -----
RE_Shutdown( 1 )
-----------------------
GLW_StartOpenGL() - could not load OpenGL subsystem

Do I need to Install any OpenGL drivers? Where can I get them from?

Sounds like you are using the default Nvidia XP drivers that are installed with the OS,they don`t support OpenGL so go to Nvidia & download the latest Nvidia 30.82 drivers .

Remember
Installation Hints:

"Download Accelerator" utilities should be disabled when downloading any drivers.
Do not run virus protection software in the background while installing the drivers. This prevents the driver from configuring itself properly.

Also you might want to install after you`ve installed the drivers the NVRefreshTool 1.0 ,which will allow you to run your monitor above 60Hz in gaming,

NVRefreshTool is a utility used to fix the problem in Windows 2000/XP that sets your refresh rate to 60Hz when you play ANY game. This problem occurs whether or not you have a higher refresh rate set in your Display Properties of Windows.

NVRefreshTool is simple and easy to use. Just load up the NVRefreshTool program and it will automatically detect the maximum refresh rate at each resolution that your monitor supports. If you're an advanced user, you can customize each refresh rate at each resolution.

Currently NVRefreshTool supports all Detonator versions.

If you use a LCD monitor then you don`t need it.

Well done - I just upraded to XP from ME and had the same problem with all of my OpenGL games too.

I then formatted and re-installed XP last nite as a fresh install without ME.

Same OpenGL error.

It seems a bit strange that the driver does not support OpenGL though - I'll be upgrading to the latest driver tonight then I guess ;)

Problem solved according to this :)

Be seeing you! :D
