Help! Can't get vid capture to work on my Ti4200

I have a Gainward Ti4200. All vid capture programs I have tried say that I don't have vid capture hardware...I have the little dongle plugged in with my camera plugged into the black composite jack (which is supposedly the input jack). I have the latest detonator drivers...how do I get the software to recognize my video input?
