HELP!~Can't get this d@mn mp3 program off my machine.

Today I bought one of those nike mp3 players and installed the software on my computer and now I can't get the crap off. I've tried everything, add/remove, delete, technical tap, etc. I thought this would be the place to ask. Any input would be much appreciated.

Thank you in advance,

Just kill it using the Task Manager (Ctrl+Alt+Del), then delete its directory (most likely in C:\Program Files).

What'd you mean by "you can't delete it"?

Does the add/remove not remove the program at all or does it only remove part of it?

If it only removes part of it, what makes you think it's not completely gone?

Usually, the add/remove thing does not completely remove EVERYTHING from the system. Usually, it leaves stuff in the registry. Sometimes it doesn't even delete the install directory. So yeah, it's pretty crap.

I would say
1) Add/Remove proggies. Then search registry for any words which may relate, such as "nike", "audio" (That will return ALOT) etc etc

2) Boot to dos, type deltree /y

Method #2 is a surefire way to get rid of all pesky programs. 😀
