HELP! Can't get digital speakers to work.

I just bought the Cambridge Soundworks 3 piece digital speaker system. I've connected everything, but I just can't seem to get the digital connection to work. I've checked that the line is connected to the correct output on my SB Live! X-Gamer 5.1, but still no sound. I hooked up just the analog sound wire, and it worked fine. Do I need to do something special to get the digital to work? Am I supposed to connect the digital AND analog audio line to my SB Live!?

i forget where, but somewhere in liveware you choose digital/analog output, you need to find that and change it to digital
