I unrar'ed a file which had SEVERAL nested subdirectories, now I can't delete them because I think the path is too long!

what do I do?

Can you get to the bottom level directories? If so delete all the files (CTL-a selects them all) and work your way up.

The more normal reason you can't delete something is that you have a program accessing it.

i fixed it by renaming each folder to a 1 character folder. until path was short enough to delete :0

it was seriously like 10-20 directories deep and the full path was well over 256 characters
