Help Can't delete a bunch of files.. after running norton unformat

I have a bunch of dirs named DIR0, DIR1, etc
I can't del them...
I have tried SHIFT+Del in XP
I have tried deltree in win98 boot disk NO LUCK

Any utils that will help me remove these files ?
 
I changed the permissions, to archive, put i still can't delete
them.. Get a Message DIR NOT EMPTY...
dir has funny characters with 0 bytes...
