HELP!!! Can't connect to the network

Ok, we're running MS Small Business Server 4.5 on an NT server and win98 workstations. We had an employee leave last week, and I have set up a new user per the SBS instructions. Problem is, after installing the client disk to the workstation, now it won't connect to the network. I get the "no network to validate your password" message. The new user ID works fine on other workstations, but for some reason the PC's fouled up.

Anyone have any ideas?????
