HELP! Can't connect to internet!!

This is really stumping me. I was setting up Windows 2003 server on a second machine that I have connected on my home network. All was going well; I was able to map drives, connect to my router, internet, etc. with both my server machine and my workstations. I got a message from my windows update that a new XP security patch (the latestst one) was avialable for download so I figured I'd do that also. I did and rebooted, and could not access the net. I couldn't even hit my router from IE. I then check my server and the same result. I don't think the security update had anything to do with it, but I did an "XP System Rollback" to the point just before the update and still no go.

Thus, I jumped on good ole' AT and searched for similar problems. Got HiJackThis, WinsockFix, and LSPFix, figuring that I had found the solution. Ran WinsockFix and no go. Did the same with LSPFix and it found nothing as well. So now I'm totaly stumped.

Just a note that my machine is compleatly clean from Spyware and viruses. Yes, I ran a complete file-by-file virus scan many times before and after the problems, as well as Ad-Aware, Spybot S&D, CWShredder, and another program that locks down holes in IE. I've had this all in place and was rock solid before I began settin up the win 2003 server.

Another interesting issue is that I have a win 98 machine connected and it is working fine....until my wife just called me at work and said that she can't connect all of the sudden.

So....HELP! Here is my HiJackthis Log. Thanks to all you gurus in advance.

Unless I'm missing something, your wife's call about the '98 machine should steer you away from the server box issues (I don't see anything in the hijackthis log). I'd be power-recycling that router.

Yep, been there, done that. Re-powered router, reset it when the 98 machine was able to connect, etc. I'm just saying that suddenly multiple machines are down. Router was working fine, and I even switched ports with the working 98 machine before it went south and still no go. Was wondering if there is a nasty trojan, virus, spyware program that might be symptomatic of this.

Also, I'm not too worried about the server box yet; just playing with it and I'll be reinstalling shortly here. I'm more concerned with my XP box (Dell 400SC) and now my '98 machine. I figured the Winsock fix would have done it, but is there something else I should check? Looked at the XP built in firewall and it is not on. Re-installed the Network Adapter card driver. All setting seem to be ok. Don't know what I'm missing... ARRRGH!!!
