<< Your problem is probably that you need to enter the actual host names for your email server.
@Home (for example) tells people to use mail as the host name for pop3 and smtp. Unfortunately, this is not a full qualified name and it does not work from behind a firewall or router. In my case, the actual server is mail.rdc1.ga.home.com. If you are with them, yours will be something similar. >>
hmm, mine works fine with just "mail" and i have a router.
