It's like - gee suddenly all the keys produce numbers and by this odd coincidence all those same keys have the same little blue numbers written on them to the side of their letters. What on earth could be happening? I just don't understand it!

You should be able to fix this with some grid squares and pneumatic fluid. Be sure to keep the same delta.

Our national sales and marketing director returned his new $3000.00 Dell Laptop (Inspiron 9300) to Dell for this exact problem. Dell Tech support was unable to suggest the Num Lock key on the phone. Dell had him return the unit (3 weeks old.) They said that they replaced the keyboard and returned the unit. When he got it back it was still doing the same thing, until I had him press the Num Lock key!
