HELP~can NOT receive files from ICQ/AIM using Linksys router..firewall?

I have linksys router, I disable the WAN option but it still won't let me transfer files from ICQ or AIM...I know it has a basic firewall, but how do I go about disable that? Or am I doing something else wrong? please help!~
 
I think it would use the "port forwarding" feature or somethinglike that. They talk about it in the back of the manual.Just like multiple users behind it using napster and such since you have a "private" address of 192.168.x.x
