HELP! Can I use xbox 360 on my monitor via the included converter from my video card?

Don't know if you can use those HD sockets, but you can just go get a Y svideo to composite.
If you have a media bar you can use that.

Also, I agree with Howard and LikeLinus.

If your monitor has DVI and VGA input, you could hook up the comptuer via DVI and get an xbox 360 VGA adapter and hook up that way assuming you have input switching capability on the monitor.

Hooking straight into your monitor will give you much better results than a solution that routes through your computer ( not saying that what you're planning would work of course since it wouldnt ;) )

If you're using your comptuer speakers, plug the Xbox into your line-in of your soundcard or if your speakers have more than one input, plug in there. If your speakers have a digital input, that would be the one to use.

If you are using some "real" speakers, plug the audio in as you would any source depending on your receiver / whatever you're using.
