HELP Can I make the computer forget the automatic password

Problem: Windows remembers the password I once typed to get into a computer through the network because "remember password" was checked. Can I make it forget the password? I know resetting does not fix it. There should be a simple option to clear out remebered passwords right? This is on a win 98 Machine

Del your username *.pwl files if you are trying to get Win9.x/ME to forget the login popup at boot.
Uncheck the formUsername & Password under Internet Options/AutoComplete Settings, and Clear Password.
