Hey guys,
I'm going to be renting a room at this guys house, but he only has a wired connection, and it doesn't go to my room. I figure I will buy a router, but which one?!?!?!?! I have a desltop, and a PSP, so I would like both to work. Also, the other 2 people in the house will need to have a wired connection, since they don't have networking cards. So I need some sort of hub/router, and something to hook up my desktop. I like to game, so speed is a plus, but reliability is the main factor. Thanks!

This is a decent router. I don't know long term reliability with it. The high power may will not show much benefit over a regular G unless you use all Turbo G hardware.

You can go with the Linksys WRT54G or D-Link DI-624 which, I believe, are the top performers in reliability and performance without going to Pre-N. And they can be found cheaper then the Buffalo. The main advantage of the Buffalo is WDS bridging support.

Simplest thing to do is to buy a low end router from Best Buy or some place where you can return/exchange and find the router that works fine for you.

PCI card always. Linksys WRT54G is my pick. Also try to use the same brands of wireless hardware if possible.
