I'm going to take the dive and try to build my own PC. My past experience with OEM systems hasn't been great -- I feel sorry for every ignorant person in Best Buy that buys one, but I can't wait to see their faces in a year with their PC. He, he he.

Anyway, are there any things I should know before I get started? Any last words before I take the plunge? So far, I've ordered a 3DCOOL Tornado 1000 w/300watt, a Blue Orb heatsink/fan (for 3D Prophet II GTS Pro), and an Alpha PAL6035 heatsink w/28.3CFM ADDa fan. I'm looking at getting a k7T Pro 2A, but I've heard horror stories of game performance because of an VIA 4in1 driver, whats the solution to his problem? Will it appear on my k7T Pro 2A?

Looks like you know what your getting. MSI K7T Pro 2A is a great board. There should be no problems using VIA's 4in1 drivers with games. My comp runs like a champ. Just make sure you have all the latest drivers, etc. If you have problems building your system, I'm pretty sure someone on this wonderful board will help you out 🙂
