HELP?! Building my first computer... problems w/ SATA HDD

Hi guys. I need some major help...

This is my first computer build, and with luck I got everything to power on and work. So when I try to install Windows XP, it says it can't detect any hdds on my system. I don't know what to do next?! When I first start the computer, it shows that the hdd is detected, but I don't know?

Here's my setup:

ASUS A7N8X-E Deluxe
AMD Athlon XP 2500+
GEIL 512MB PC-3200 DDR
Western Digital 7200RPM 80GB SATA

Anyone out there can point me in the right direction? I tried going to ASUS and Western Digital website, but all I found out was that I need to install a SATA driver using my A: drive.... but only a CD was provided for me when I bought the mobo.

Thanks,

Dan

Ok if you have another cmputer it would be a big help! What you need to do, i think is install the 3rd party RAID driver when setup first begins. Im not 100% sure but that would definately be my first guess. If you have access to any other computer go to the website for the SATA drivers and download the disks. If not post again and someone here will help ya out 🙂 .

Good Luck
