I installed HD Tach Ver 2.61 to test my HD on my MSI Pro 2A---disabled CD Autoinsert as directed and still get a BSOD stating "an exception has occurred at 0028:C0031BB6 in VXD: I hit enter and get a "Invalid Floating Point Operation" message from HD Tach---anything else I should do to correct this---Thanks!

Make sure nothing is running in the background...rc5, seti, etc. That was my problem with it.

Huntnpeck,
I've turned off any programs running in the background and still get the same BSOD results---
Does HD Tach run on other peoples VIA chipset MB'S?
