Help! BSOD appears when installing Dxr3 decoder card.

[Viper Frag]

I'm running Win2K pro and when I try installing the sofware that came with the Encore 12x package, I think it was the DVD player, I get a BSOD that says Driver IRQ not less or equal and then my pc reboots. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
