There is something really fishy going on with my pc.
This morning, I was playing Call of Duty however there is a power outage and the computer was turned off. After a few minutes, the power came back, I and turned on the comp. All seemed well however when I got to Windows Xp, it won't load. All I got was a black screen. So, I cleaned out the entire hard drive, and reinstalled winxp. Everything seemed ok until I loaded the forceware drivers. I got the same black screen. Thinking that my graphics card was dead, I switched it for my Geforce 4 mx 420. Windows prompted me to install drivers. So I did, and boom, the same thing. I dunno wut's going on...I mean if I don't have any drivers installed, everything is fine, but once I install drivers...nada.
Any ideas?

What kind of surge protection do you have? It almost sounds like your power supply and or ram could have been zapped. I'm leaning towards power supply. Its a very wise investment to purchase some sort of battery backup even if it only provides 10 minutes of power.
