Help: Best T-bird, DDR Overclock?

Olias

Senior member
I'm planning a T-bird/DDR system using the EPoX 8K7A+ board and have 2 questions.

(1) What memory do I use if I want to overclock a 1.2 T-bird... PC1600, CL=2 or PC2100, CL=2.5?

(2) What CPU is the best overclock... the 200FSB or 266FSB version?

Thanks, Olias

Ok, I had to find out for myself and thought I would share, unlike the lacklustre response here.

PC2100, CL=2.5 is better for higher FSB (similar to PC-133) and the "C" T-Birds or 266FSB seem to be favoured. Also looks like the AXIA(Y) and AVIA(Y) stepping overclocks nicely.
