I guys. I just got my Opty and have been tinkering with it all night. I went 2.7Ghz and hit a snag. Ever since then, when I go to click on my account at the Windows logon screen I get an error saying my user account is borked and I need to contact the administrator. What gives? System specs:

WinXP Home w/ SP2

Opty 165
EPoX 9NPA Ultra
2 x 1GB G.Skill PC4000 DDR500 RAM
BFG 7800GT
Seagate 160GB IDE HDD
Creative Soundblaster Audigy

Thanks for the help.

Not sure why that would mess up your user account...

Put the XP SP2 CD in the drive and performa repair...

If your memory became unstable during your overclocking, you probably corrupted the hard drive. Try what AdamSnow said, and do a repair install.

Actually it only affected my user account. The others are perfectly fine. The other partitions are also fine. Weird.
