HELP :: [Backspace] button on the keyboard works as back button on MS Internet Explorer

hi... i have been getting so annoyed by this backspace key.
being less than perfect typist, i am a good friend of this backspace button.
however, sometimes, when i press the [backspace] button, rather than deleting my last character, it backs up to my last viewed webpage... as if i pressed the back button on the browser.

i'm sure there's some sort of setting that can over-ride this function.

is anyone else out there bothered by this too? any solutions? anyone... help?

i'm using windows NT
IExplorer 5.00.2314.1003 128bit

thanx

Just make sure you are in a text entry area and then the backspace key will backspace. If you are in a text/graphics diaplay area (regular forum reading) backspace is the Back command.

I don't know.. I use NT and Explorer and it never happens to me. That link kind of says that it's a known problem though.. strange. But yeah, otherwise I would have said what Noriaki said..
