I just spent the better part of four days fighting with my Epox 8kta3, Pioneer, Iomega, and DMA issue *Whew!! glad that is over!*
Now onto the new problem, I tried searching for the answer but I am burnt-out-dog-tired of looking. Hopefully someone can help me out.
System Specs:
Epox 8kta3
Duron750@980
Maxtor 20gb 7200 HD
192mb Corsair
Aureal SQ2500 Vortex 2
Radeon LE
Pioneer 16X Slot load
Iomega 12X4X32X
WINME (I KNOW!! I CAN"T STAND IT!!) it is the only OS I have right now.

The problem is that while playing a DVD the sound drops off completely when the sound (for example: music) that is playing drops to below a certain volume level. The movie continues to play with no sound until a point where the volume level (or dB?) goes up again.
I know this is a common problem but again I am completely spent! any ideas? Thanks.
*By the way... thanks to all those people out there that worked hard on the DMA thing....that was tricky!*
