Help Whenever I hook up my joystick, a Logitech Wingman Digital Extreme, to the joystick port my computer completely locks up when it gets to the initial desktop. With the joystick removed the computer works fine. The joystick works fine on my friends computer with a SBLive value. When I try and go through the control panel and add the joystick in that way the computer will lock up as well. I have tried hooking up his Microsoft Precision Pro and it seems to work fine.
I am currently deployed onboard the USS Theodore Roosevelt so my troubleshooting assetts and online help are severely hampered. I can't tell you where I am located, but watch CNN, I am sure they will tell you. With the realism of being deployed for 6 months with out pulling into any ports my computer is my only release. The fact that I can't play any games that require a joystick is really getting on my nerves. I have a gaming lan set up out here and to be honest UT is starting to get boring.
