Help, ATI drivers strike again!

So I uninstalled the 6.9 Cats, to go back to 6.6 Cats.

I installed 6.6's, ATI Tray Tools and ATI Tool. The problem is that now when I try and overclock either through ATT or ATI Tool, the card is behaving very strangely.

If I try and overclock through Tray Tools, I set the default and OC profile, set clock speeds, fan speed and voltage control. Then I set the correct profiles in the auto overclocking and enable 2D/3D overclocking.

When I enter the game (GRAW for example), my framerates are CRAWLING, in the mid-high 20's. Same settings in game as I have always used when I got 55 fps avg.

When I disbale 2D/3D overclocking and just set it to always run 3D clocks, the same thing happens in GRAW and when I look in Trat Tools udner overclocking settings, the default 2D profile has been loaded and my fan and voltage control has been erased from the profile.

I dont udnerstand, it's like I'm setting the options I want, how I always did before, but the settings arent being saved or something.

When I try and use ATI Tool, I can set clocks, 3D detection, but there are no options for voltage control or fan control in settings?

BAH! I am really annoyed at the moment, can anyone help me out?

Hotkey poller is confirmed to be disabled through services.msc and I am using the latest version of Tray Tools and ATI Tool.

Don't use Tray Tools for OCing -- use 'tool.

BTW, still hankering for that Crossfire edition card? 😉

Yeah I'm still trying to swing that card gersson.

I reenabled the hotkey poller and the problems still persist.

Tool I can't use because I have no voltage control through tool. If i set the clocks to 650/775, I get automatic system hang because the voltage is stuck at 1.2v.

The latest build of ATI Tool allows for voltage adjustment.

I know, I have ATI Tool .25 beta 10, the same ATI Tool I was using with the 6.9 cats 24 hours ago with no problem.

NOW, with 6.6's, I ahve no voltage or fan control through ATI Tool.
