Read the manual for the mobo, it'll tell you where to make all your connections, if you don't have it look for an on-line one...

Well, see its not the LED,or anything. Its a black wire with 5 wires hanging out,4 which are like terminals and one is like a washer you screw on to the case for ground.

What color are the wires hanging out? I bet the one with the washer thing is green.

P.S. - you should have just removed the switch from the old case and left the wires attached. But I guess that doesn't matter now....

See if you can find a picture of an AT-style switch someplace on the web using google or another search engine. Or go to Best Buy or a local computer store and look at the replacement AT power supplies they have there.

Are you referring to the 4 wires that go to the power switch? Be careful with them because they carry high voltage - potentially lethal 120VAC. If you're not 100% sure how to hook up the wires, find somebody who knows.

When the switch is turned on, the blue and white wires connect together, and the brown and black wires connect together. You don't want to wire the switch the wrong way and cause the black and white wires to short together or the circuit breaker will pop, but maybe not in time to prevent wires from melting together. If the power switch is longer than it is wide, then the brown and black wires go on one side and the white and blue wires on the other side. Another way to look at it is that the black and white wires go on the rear 2 tabs and the blue and brown wires go on the front 2 tabs.
